Ethics & Sourcing
I never harm or kill any living beings to create my jewellery. Every specimen I use — whether insect or animal remain — is ethically sourced through one of these methods:
-
Reclaimed specimens:
Damaged, incomplete, or retired items from entomological or natural history collections, museums, or universities. These would normally be discarded — instead, they are transformed into art and given a second life.
-
Naturally found:
Insects or bones collected outdoors, always discovered already deceased, at the end of their natural life cycle.
I work exclusively with legal, non-protected species and fully follow all local and international regulations.
I never use animals or insects protected under CITES or other wildlife protection laws.
My goal is always to honor nature’s beauty without causing harm.
