Full description
The skull starts as a 3D-printed resin replica based on a scan of a real cat skull. After printing, the finer details are worked by hand using engraving and rotary tools before the piece is electroformed in pure copper.
Three hand-faceted Ethiopian opals add a little colour to the dark copper finish. The crescent shapes represent phases of the moon, a nod to the changing cycles of nature and the passage of time.
The patina is sealed with ProtectaClear to help preserve the surface.
A little piece for anyone who likes their jewellery on the unusual side.

Jewellery care
To keep your jewellery looking its best, avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes, cosmetics and household chemicals. Store it separately in a dry place and wipe gently with a soft cloth when needed.
Copper and patinated finishes naturally evolve over time, which is part of their character. Please see the full Jewellery Care guide for detailed advice.

Handmade & ethical sourcing
Handmade & ethical sourcing
Every piece is individually made and finished by hand, so small variations are part of its character.
Natural specimens, where used, are sourced from old collections, educational or scientific rejects, or found deceased where lawful. I do not use protected species. Some designs use high-quality replicas instead, and this is always stated in the product details.
